Slow going for Lawndale home sales in January
3 homes sell in Lawndale with an average home price of $800,000
Welcome to the real estate recap for Lawndale home sales for the first month of 2026.
The number of homes that sold was very low with only 3 homes closing escrow. That wasn’t surprising as December listings and escrows are always slow due to the holidays….and if nothing goes into escrow in December….not much closes in January. Compare that with 7 sold homes in December, 13 in November, and 12 in October.
The average “listing” price for the homes that sold was $816,333 with the average sales price at $800,000 which was WAY below the $976,714 in December but up from both $790,923 in November and $752,167 in October.
Homes averaged a lengthy 97 days on the market before going in to escrow. The homes that sold averaged $350 per square foot but that number was heavily skewed by one sale.
