In one sentence….home sales were up but average prices were down. There were 6 homes that closed escrow compared with 4 in June, 8 in May and 5 in April.
The average “listing” price for the homes that sold was $675,550 with the average sales price at $667,300 which was signifantly lower than $786,250 in June, $810,709 in May but above to $623,800 in April.
That said homes averaged 71 days on market before going in to escrow which much longer than previous months. The homes that sold averaged $581 per square foot.
