Take a look at the homes that closed escrow in the South Bay city of Lawndale CA during the month of April 2022.  It was a big month in terms of both the number of homes that sold as well as sold home prices.

There were 15 on MLS home sales during the month.   The average “list” price was $768,933 with the average sold price of $817,906 meaning that homes generally WELL above the “asking” price. The Most Expensive Property Sale in Lawndale This Year

Although the year isn’t over, we’re getting close.  The real estate market in the South Bay has been just crazy and Lawndale has had some impressive home sale numbers and prices.  Up to this point the highest priced home sale of the year was at $1,125,000. The property at 4316 Manhattan Beach Blvd was actually a duplex with two detached homes that were built in 2019. The larger front home offered approximately 1,932 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The 1,198 square detached back house also offered 3 bedrooms and 3 baths.

Pending Home Sales Continue to Rise in Lawndale

For the 4th month in a row the number of pending home sales increased quite a bit from the previous month.  June saw 15 homes go into escrow which was the highest number of pending home sales in Lawndale since August of 2019.  Home sales in Lawndale also increased significantly from the 2 prior months.
