February Not a Great Month for the Lawndale Real Estate

Slow going for Lawndale home sales in February 2026

4 homes sell in Lawndale with an average home price of $597,750

Well the Lawndale real estate market definitely didn’t impress in February unlike some other South Bay cities.

The number of homes that sold was very low with only 4 homes closing escrow.  Compare that with 3 homes sold in January,  7 in December, and 13 in November.

The average “listing” price for the homes that sold was  $596,447 with the average sales price at $597,750 which was pretty dramatically below $800,000 in December which was WAY below the  $976,714 in December.  That said Lawndale is a very small market so numbers can swing dramatically with so few sales.

Homes averaged a very brief 15 days on the market before going in to escrow.  The homes that sold averaged $603 per square foot.

3 homes sell in Lawndale with an average home price of $800,000

Welcome to the real estate recap for Lawndale home sales for the first month of 2026.

The number of homes that sold was very low with only 3 homes closing escrow. That wasn’t surprising as December listings and escrows are always slow due to the holidays….and if nothing goes into escrow in December….not much closes in January.  Compare that with 7 sold homes in December, 13  in November, and 12 in October.

The average “listing” price for the homes that sold was  $816,333 with the average sales price at $800,000 which was WAY below the  $976,714 in December but up from both $790,923 in November and  $752,167 in October.  

Homes averaged a lengthy 97 days on the market before going in to escrow.  The homes that sold averaged $350 per square foot but that number was heavily skewed by one sale.

Welcome to the real estate recap for Lawndale home sales for the last month of 2025.

The number of sold homes dropped a bit, but priced picked up so a bit of a mixed bag.  In general it was a strong month for the Lawndale real estate market. There were 7 closed escrows compared to 13  in November, 12 in October and 8 in September.

The average “listing” price for the homes that sold was  $988,571 with the average sales price at $976,714 which was a huge jump from $790,923 in November and  $752,167 in October.  

Homes averaged 70 market before going in to escrow.  The homes that sold averaged $609 per square foot.

It was a great month for the Lawndale real estate market both in terms of the number of homes that sold and the prices that they sold for. There were 13 homes that sold in November compared to 12 in October and 8 in September..  

The average “listing” price for the homes that sold was  $790,900  with the average sales price at $790,923 which was up from $752,167 in October and $749,504 in September.  

Homes averaged 41 market before going in to escrow.  The homes that sold averaged $621 per square foot.
